The Niderno Family Holiday Card

On Sunday I fotographed a newborn session for the Niderno Family, who is doing a year long project with us called the Miracle of Life. The project consists of 6 sessions starting with Maternity, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 mo., and ending with the baby's 1 year pictures. At the end of the project I am going to design a book for the family using images from all 6 sessions to tell the story of the baby's first year of life. This is my first official project of this nature, and I'm so excited to be working with such an amazing family! Here is a holiday card that I've designed for them!

Nate's Rock Star Book

We shot Nate's rockin' senior fotos a couple weeks back, and I just finished a Rock Star Book design for him! I think it came out awesome.....let us know what you think!

Eileen + Russell's Book

In September we fotographed the beautiful wedding of Eileen and Russ, and I just finished the design for their wedding book. Eileen and Russ and their families are from our little ole' town of Stafford, and it's been really working with these wonderful families! I wanted to make sure that I had their design ready for Thanksgiving, so that they'd be able to share it with everyone.

Well, I've officially completed my first design for another photographer, and I'm so excited about it!!!! This design is for my dear friend and amazing photographer, the one and only Miss Carla Ten Eyck!!! She was our guina pig for figuring out the logistics of designing for other photographers, and I'm looking forward to her feed back on the whole process. I am very much looking forward to designing more books for Carla- I really love her work. Paul & I helped Carla shoot a wedding earlier this year, and it was such an amazing experience shooting with another photographer that is as passionate about her work as we are! Our styles are so similar, so it was almost like cheating designing a book for her, because I felt like I was designing a book for our studio!! Anyway, without further ado, enjoy!!! Ann + Walt's Wedding Book

On September 1st of this year, Paul + I shot the wedding of Ann + Walt. They were such a fun couple to fotograph, and their book was just as fun to design! Enjoy!

Devon-Anne + Edward's Book

Paul & I shot Devon and Ed's wedding last year at Saint Clements Castle in Portland, CT, right down the street from where I grew up in the little town of East Hampton. Saint Clements is a cool renaissance style castle with a beautiful view overlooking the Connecticut River. Devon is such a classic beauty and Ed is a handsome guy, and they were so fun to photograph. They had such a great "serious" look, which I loved when we were shooting in the gorgeous ivy terrace courtyard. The sun had just went down, and we had this romantic, dark light (if you could give it such a name!) that really created a romantic mood. I love their images and really enjoyed putting together this design of my vision of their day.

Welcome to KryStyle Designs!

Hello all and welcome to my new blog!  I'm Krystal Prue, co-owner & designer for my new book design company KryStyle Designs! As some of you may know, my partner Paul (who also happens to be my amazing boyfriend!) and I have a fotography studio in rural Stafford Springs, Connecticut called StudioFoto.   My passion in life is photography and I feel so fortunate to be living my dream!  I also absolutely love to design.... it seems to come to me very naturally, and I look forward to coming up with new and unique designs with every book I create.  

We've been fotographing weddings & portraits for 7 years now, and I've been our designer as well. This past February we became founding members of our local PUG (Pictage Users Group) here in Connecticut, and quickly became good friends with many of the members. It's been such a inspiration for us to get to know these photographers, both professionally and personally. Paul & I have grown so much this past year, and we thank our friends in PUG for helping us grow as photographers and people. Many of our friends in this group have been encouraging us to start a book design company for other photographers because they love my book designs so much! This is such a compliment coming from my peers, who's work is an inspiration to me, and I feel so honored to be asked to create designs for these wonderful photographers! I'd like to thank some of my friends who have been encouraging me to officially start KryStyle Designs: my friends Carla Ten Eyck, Justin & Mary, Steve Depino, Amy Ross Jacob, Nicki Nicole, Jacklyn Greenberg and Richard Esposito, and the list could go on and on! Thanks everyone and I look forward to working with you all!

Vanessa + Mark's Wedding in Jamaica

Hello all! Here is a lovely project that I've been working on for my couple Vanessa & Mark who's wedding we photographed in Jamaica last year! A gorgeous couple + beautiful location= amazing wedding!! Paul & I had such a blast spending 5 days with them, and I could not wait to design their books! This is a two volume book design, and I cannot wait to have this as a sample in our studio . Paul & I would like to eventually shoot mostly destination weddings- they are such an adventure! Enjoy!
